Teen Wolf's Tyler Posey is set to reprise his role as high-school-student-turned-werewolf Scott McCall in a new movie for Paramount+ – and he's not the only original cast member geared up to return.

Confirming their involvement at ViacomCBS Investor Day on Tuesday, February 15, the broadcast revealed that Posey will be sharing the screen with former co-stars Holland Roden (as Lydia Martin), Shelley Hennig (Malia Tate), Crystal Reed (Allison Argent), Colton Haynes (Jackson Whittemore) and Dylan Sprayberry (Liam Dunbar).

JR Bourne (Chris Argent), Linden Ashby (Sheriff Noah Stilinski), Ryan Kelley (Deputy Jordan Parrish), Orny Adams (Coach Bobby Finstock), Melissa Ponzio (Melissa McCall) and Seth Gilliam (Dr. Alan Deaton) will also appear.

While the line-up is pretty stacked, fans are sure to be disappointed that former series regulars Arden Cho and Dylan O'Brien, who played Kira Yukimura and Stiles Stilinski respectively, won't be back.

Deadline states that, while Tyler Hoechlin's name wasn't mentioned either, he may still sign on for the project if scheduling conflicts don't get in the way. Jeff Davis, who adapted the show from the 1985 fantasy comedy film of the same name, will write and produce.

According to The Wrap, the feature-length outing, which will simply be titled Teen Wolf The Movie, will build on certain storylines from the popular supernatural drama, which ran between 2011 and 2017, as a "terrifying evil" descends upon Beacon Hills.

"The wolves are howling once again, calling for the return of banshees, werecoyotes, hellhounds, kitsunes, and every other shapeshifter in the night. But only a werewolf like Scott McCall (Posey), no longer a teenager yet still an alpha, can gather both new allies and reunite trusted friends to fight back against what could be the most powerful and deadliest enemy they've ever faced," the description reads.
