For many people lockdown has been a time to get creative in the kitchen.
From mastering banana bread and sourdough loaves to experimenting with new recipes and ingredients.
If after all this extra time in the kitchen you've realised your frying pan looks a bit worse for wear, we've found a best-selling option that is currently on sale for a bargain price.
Why we rate it
Tefal frying pans seem to be having a surge in popularity at the moment, with numerous designs currently sold out at John Lewis.
This design has Easy Plus coating, which makes this a durable non-stick pan. It also features a Thermo-Spot mark in the centre to alert you when your pan has heated up and is ready to cook.
The Frypan also features an ergonomic grip handle, can be used on the majority of hobs (except induction), and comes in different sizes (24cm, 28cm or 32cm), although the price varies depending on the size, ranging from £13.85 to £26.96 for the larger size.
However, Amazon's current best-selling frying pan is the Tefal 28cm Frypan that has been reduced from £22 to only £15.17.
What the reviews say
Shoppers can't get enough of the Tefal Precision Plus Frypan, which has racked up over 7,000 reviews and has been recognised as one of Amazon's bestselling products.
Here's what they say:
"Always buy these pans for durability and versatility. Have different sizes so can be used for a big fry up or stir fry, down to omelettes and even a lone fried egg in the smallest size, which I find useful cooking for one most of the time. These pans are extremely easy to keep clean and maintain the non stick quality, just simply wipe round with kitchen roll or for stuck on foods simply leave to soak with water than wash gently. Use with non scratch utensils for years of brilliant use."
"This has become a staple in our household. You can make almost anything on this pan. It’s big enough to cook about four [servings of] meals like curries, pasta dishes, stir fries. I just love this pan so much. It is also very easy to clean and the ring in the centre tells you when the temperature is ideal to start cooking, so handy."
"Good pan for the price. Very easy to clean. However, it is less than 28 cm, so my 28cm lid doesn't fit properly."
"You can't go wrong with Tefal. I can cook anything from curries to stir-fries. It's non-stick, easy to toss the contents of your food. The heat surrounds the pan perfectly, ensuring all your foods get cooked. So easy to clean too."
"Good heat distribution, and non-stick. To prolong its 'non-stickiness', avoid using abrasive tools or scouring pads to clean it, wiping it with a kitchen towel and then cleaning it with a soft sponge does the job. Also, avoid pouring cold water on it while it's hot, allow the pan to cool down slowly."
