Being nominated for a Bafta isn’t just about receiving respect and notoriety among your peers.

It’s also about getting a bag full of top drawer swag from companies that are in all likelihood hoping to get featured on your Instagram page.

As such, this year’s Bafta nominee goody bag was a real hum-dinger, according to reports.

Stars took home perfume from Lancome, a wine tasting trip to New Zealand, champagne, fine confectionary and a coffee machine.

There were also shiny jewels, courtesy of Swarovski.

The Metro newspaper lists the contents thusly:

American Airlines – Five Star Service
Atelier Swarovski – Crystal Chanton
Bottletop – Sustainably produced luxury tote
Champagne Taittinger – Bottle of Champagne
Charles Worthington – Hair spray and shine spray
Evian – Evian Fruits and Plants drink and facial spray
Hotel Chocolat – Box of Chocolates
Lancome – Perfume
Nespresso – Two cups & Coffee machine
The Savoy – Leather notebook
Villa Maria – Wine Tasting in New Zealand

A nice gesture as it is, lugging a Nespresso machine around after an awards bash could be considered to be something of a cumbersome hinderance, but then again handy for staying awake at the afterparties.

The bag isn’t quite up to the standard of the annual Oscars giveaway, however.

Last year’s recipients received gifts to the value of $232,000 (around £185,000), including a free breast lift, a 15-day walking tour of Japan, a VIP trip to Israel, personalised M&Ms, a 10,000-meal donation made in the nominee’s name to an animal shelter or rescue of their choice, a marijuana vaporiser and a vibrator.
