Last year it was revealed that while Captain America and Iron Man were having their ‘Civil War,’ Thor was instead busy getting acclimatised to life in Australia with his new roommate Daryl.

But while August’s ‘Team Thor’ clip was expected to be the last we ever saw of Daryl Jacobson, Marvel have delightfully released a new clip entitled ‘Team Thor: Part 2 – Where Are The Now?’ that is not only hilarious, but proves that living with Thor is awful.

While it’s probably a bit of a push to call this a ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ teaser, especially as the style and comedic tone of the clip is more akin to director Taika Waititi’s previous film ‘What We Do In The Shadows’ than what we can expect from the blockbuster, it still does a sterling job of increasing anticipation for it.

It also showed that Thor is still getting used to Earth. For those that don’t remember, the previous ‘Team Thor’ Marvel short showed that Thor had no qualms bothering Daryl at work, Mjolnir got in the way of household chores, and that the Asgardian prince would cook raw meat in the Australian heat that would undoubtedly stink out the house. You can remind yourself of the short by watching it below.

But it turns out that, on top of these issues, Thor can’t even afford to pay his rent. Well, at least he can’t afford to pay rent on planet Earth. As Daryl points out, even though the Asgardian coins he’s trying to use are apparently worth a “gazillion” dollars, no one will exchange them here.

Because of Thor’s financial problem, Daryl suggests that he gets a job. As you’d expect that falls on death ears, as Thor insists that his job is to save the planet, while he then gets immediately petty and argumentative with poor old Daryl, too.

All of which suggests that Thor might be homeless by the time ‘Ragnarok’ rolls around. Thankfully, since it has already been confirmed that ‘Ragnarok’ doesn’t spend that much time on planet Earth, Thor will probably be too busy trying to save the galaxy to concentrate on finding a new place to live.

We’ll find out where he finally lays his hat when ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ is released on November 3, 2017.
