Yahoo Movies Tia Mowry lines up Sister Sister reunion for new Christmas movie
Tia Mowry is reuniting with a Sister, Sister co-star in an upcoming Christmas movie.
Titled A Very Merry Beauty Salon, the Lifetime festive flick is an Atlanta-set romantic comedy starring Mowry and RonReaco Lee, who played Tia's boyfriend Tyreke on Sister, Sister.
The movie follows beauty salon owner Sienna (Mowry), who is preparing for the annual Tinsel Ball, where she will be honoured for her charitable activities.

Sienna crosses paths with a charming CEO named Lawrence (Lee) when his family's wine brand co-sponsors the ball. Meanwhile, Sienna's mother (Donna Biscoe) doesn't seem to be a big fan of Lawrence as she fears he will alter the traditions for the beloved event.
Cast for the film is rounded out by Cocoa Brown and Ashli Auguillard.
Bobby Yan directs from a script by Tara Knight, with A Very Merry Beauty Salon marking the final project in Mowry's three-movie deal with Lifetime. The star is also credited as executive producer.

In other cinematic Christmas news, Gilmore Girls star Lauren Graham will appear in a special role in upcoming holiday movie The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. Graham features as the film's narrator and is set to appear in the film in a crucial cameo.
An adaptation of Barbara Robinson's children's novel of the same name, the film follows a small town getting ready for its annual Christmas pageant. The tradition risks being upended when six misfit children, the Herdmans, volunteer to take part in the play.
The movie also stars Judy Greer as the pageant's director Grace Bradley and Pete Holmes as her husband Bob, with Molly Belle Wright portraying their daughter Beth.
A Very Merry Beauty Salon is expected to premiere later this year.
The Best Christmas Pageant Ever is released in US cinemas on November 8. A UK release date is yet to be announced.
