'This time has been like no other!' White Lines star Jade Alleyne gives birth
'White Lines' star Jade Alleyne has given birth to her first child.
The 22-year-old former CBBC actress - who is also known for playing Clem Burton in children's TV series ‘Four O’Clock Club’ - confirmed in March she was expecting, and the star has now revealed she secretly gave birth in May.
She wrote on Instagram: "7 months ago the Lord blessed us with the safe delivery of a beautiful baby boy. We gave thanks and began the new stretch of parenthood.
We have been showered with love, gifts, blessings, grace, safety and support.
This time has been like no other. We have explored new depths and known joy like never yet before.
God has blessed us yesterday, today and for eternity. So we give thanks to HIM.
Praise the Lord! Hallelujah! A baby boy is born!
Amen. (sic)"
Several stars congratulated the actor, including her 'Years and Years' co-star Ruth Madeley, and Russell T Davies, who created the BBC dystopian sci-fi drama.
Ruth posted on Instagram: "Beautiful. God's plan"
Russell commented: "Wonderful xxx"
In March, Jade - who portrayed Tanit Ward in Netflix drama 'White Lines' - confirmed she and her partner Ce Yung were expecting their first child together, and she was excited for their "new phase".
She wrote on Instagram: "This man is my shelter, my rock, my best friend, my confidant, my co-pilot, my greatest supporter and confidence builder, a ray of light in the best times and the times I need it the most, the love of my life and the father of the new generation of family we are building.
"This new phase of life for me has been the deepest, most challenging and most rewarding. (sic)"
Jade revealed the “extreme joy” she felt meant she wanted to be more open about her news than she usually is.
She continued: "So BLESSINGS!!! Praises and thanks to HIM for this beautiful gift.
"I’m naturally very private but feel extreme joy from being transparent enough to share this news.
"May God watch over our newborn and see us through a healthy delivery. (sic)"
