Tom Cruise’s guards taser ‘drunk’ neighbour

Intruder was tasered after climbing wall into star's house

One of Tom Cruise’s neighbours drunkenly tried to enter the movie stars’ house on Sunday, according to reports.

A 41-year-old man allegedly tried to scale a wall at the actor’s Beverly Hills estate at around 9.30pm.

Police said Cruise’s guards used a taser to  subdue him, before the man was arrested and taken to a local hospital.

The police later identified the man as Cruise’s neighbour who may have drunkenly confused the ‘Top Gun’ actor’s home with his own. He was still arrested for trespassing.

Neither Cruise nor his family were at home at the time.

It’s been a tricky week for Cruise having recently filed a $50 million (£31 million) defamation lawsuit against ‘Life & Style’ and ‘In Touch Weekly’ over allegations that he had abandoned his and ex-wife Katie Holmes' 6-year-old daughter, Suri.
