Tom Cruise Was 'Scared Sh*tless' During Mission: Impossible Plane Stunt

Yes, he might do his own stunts, and yes, it might well increase his bragging rights, but that doesn’t mean that Tom Cruise wasn’t bricking it when he did that now infamous plane stunt.

Images emerged earlier this year of Cruise hanging from the side of a cargo plane while filming ‘Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation’.

Fans were then somewhat blown away to find that it was indeed him - not a lookalike stuntman stand-in - doing the dangerous stuff.

In a new clip from the making of the movie, Cruise talks frankly about it being something of a nerve-wracking experience.

“I’m feeling the force of the wind hit me,” he says. “I’m actually scared sh*tless.”

We were too, TC, and we were only watching it.

It’s not the first time that Cruise has put his life on the line for the action series.

Who could forget the dizzying shot of him atop the Burj Khalifa Tower in Dubai as he filmed 'Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol’.

Something about him having bare feet makes this shot even more harrowing.

‘Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation’ is out across the UK on July 30. Check out the trailer below…
