Tom Hardy's Dog Tries To Kill A Pigeon At Legend Premiere

There are reasons why people don’t usually take their dogs to movie premieres.

- Family of Reggie Kray’s wife ‘mortified’ over biopic
- Tom Hardy stars as BOTH the Kray twins in Legend

There’s the chance of it licking somewhere it shouldn’t or doing it’s dirty business in front of a phalanx of paparazzi, or in the case of Tom Hardy’s mutt, trying to commit pigeon-cide.

Hardy’s faithful hound Woodstock caught sight of the bird on the blue carpet in London’s Leicester Square last night, for the unveiling of Hardy’s new movie ‘Legend’, and appeared to abandon his decorum.

Woody came startling close to catching the bird, and generally upstaged everyone, appearing in the cast group shots and jumping up at his owner.

The dog’s antics even managed to detract from Hardy appearing with his newly pregnant wife, actress Charlotte Riley.

Also pitching up for the meet and greet were co-stars Emily Browning, David Thewlis and Christopher Eccleston.

The movie, directed by 'LA Confidential’ writer Brian Hegeland, boasts Hardy playing both of the Kray twins, the crime kingpins who ruled over London’s underworld in the 60s.

It’s out across the UK on September 9.
