Tom Hiddleston Acceptance Speech Hijacked By Thor Co-Stars Idris Elba and Chris Hemsworth

Tom Hiddleston had his TV Choice Award acceptance speech interrupted by his ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ co-stars Chris Hemsworth and Idris Elba last night.

The Brit was accepting a Best Actor prize for 'The Night Manager’ via video message from the set of the upcoming Marvel adventure.

Starting as your typical “Sorry for not being there” bit, Hemsworth didn’t take long to barge in and take the trophy, “assuming” (it was all played for laughs of course) that it was being award to him for his work on 'Home and Away’ many moons ago.

Elba then chimes in to call the trophy “really awful” then ask where the nominations were for his BBC detective series 'Luther’. A fair point if you ask us.

Hemsworth signed off with a shout-out to the show he worked on for three years between 2004-2007 before finding Hollywood, while Elba praised Hugh Laurie’s “amazing” performance opposite Hiddleston in 'The Night Manager’.

Hiddleston remained as charming as ever of course, thanking the voters.

If you want to see the video for yourself, TV Choice uploaded to its Twitter account.

The trio appear for the third time together in ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ next year, when the film is released in October.
