Chaos Walking has unveiled a new clip that sees Marvel's Tom Holland chasing after Star Wars actress Daisy Ridley.

The repeatedly-delayed project will finally be released next month and on Wednesday (February 17), Lionsgate dropped a minute-long clip from the movie that sees Viola Eade (Ridley) escaping a barn on a motorbike.

She is swiftly pursed by Todd Hewitt (Holland) on horseback, before both characters are chased by other assailants.

Mads Mikkelsen's Mayor Prentiss also features briefly in the trailer.

Based on Patrick Ness's 2008 novel The Knife of Never Letting Go, Chaos Walking follows a young man named Todd whose life on a dystopian planet called New World, where there are no women and all creatures can read each other's thoughts via a conscious stream called Noise, is interrupted by his discovery of Viola.

Having always believed that women were wiped out long ago by a deadly pathogen that also unleashed Noise, Todd is frustrated to discover he can't hear Viola's thoughts while she can hear his.

Working together, the pair then uncover a dark secret.

Chaos Walking also stars Nick Jonas, Cynthia Erivo and David Oyelowo and actually finished shooting in November 2017, with significant reshoots waylaying the project ever since.
