The Only Way is Essex star Chloe Brockett was temporarily suspended from the reality TV series for breaking lockdown rules, reports claim.

As reported by the MailOnline, the 20-year-old TV personality was not allowed to film for the show until she provided a negative Covid test after visiting her rumoured boyfriend, Love Island winner Jack Fincham, in Kent.

A source told the website: “Chloe broke coronavirus rules by going to Jack’s house, so Towie had to suspend her.

“The cast and crew have done everything they can to film the current series safely and in adherence to the government guidelines.”

A spokesperson for production company Lime Pictures confirmed to the publication that they had suspended a member of the show’s cast, although did not name Brockett, who joined the reality series in 2019.

“A member of our cast was reminded of the guidelines three weeks ago after appearing to visit the garden of someone not in their bubble,” they said.

“Consequently they were not permitted to continue filming until providing negative Covid-19 results.”

When Brockett’s visit allegedly took place, socialising indoors was not allowed.

The Independent has contacted Brockett’s representative for comment.
