Transformers: The Last Knight Unveils Bumblebee

Bumblebee is here in a new image from ‘Transformers 5’.

We’ve already seen Hot Rod, Barricade and new autobot Squeaks revealed in some cool new images from ‘Transformers: The Last Knight’. We’ve even seen the latest incarnation of the big bad decepticon villain, Megatron.

Now, Bumblebee takes centre stage… and he looks great.

‘Transformers’ fans will instantly recognise Bumblebee…

And not just because he’s a series favourite.

The classic autobot is depicted here looking, well…rather familiar. The image shows Bumblebee once again sporting that yellow and black colour scheme. Not that there was any danger of that changing. And he’s still sporting those iconic shoulder panels which resemble an insect’s wings.

In fact, his general appearance is very similar to that seen in earlier ‘Transformers’ films.

Except for that close up of his face.

Here, he’s shown as being far more insect-like than previous versions.

And it rather suits him.

In case you have no idea who Bumblebee is, the ‘Transformers’ studio has included a brief bio to get you up to speed. Bumblebee is described as the autobot “second-in-command” and is summed up as a “loyal guardian and scout”.

Can we expect a full reveal of Optimus Prime soon?

We’ve already seen a brief glimpse of the ‘Transformers’ hero amidst various promotional posters… but a better look at his latest autobot form would be a welcome addition.

And we get the feeling it’s just around the corner.

‘Transformers: The Last Knight’ stars Mark Wahlberg, Laura Haddock, Anthony Hopkins, Josh Duhamel and Tyrese Gibson.

This will reportedly be Michael Bay’s final ‘Transformers’ movie, and is based on a screenplay by Matt Holloway, Art Marcum and Ken Nolan.

‘Transformers: The Last Knight’ heads to cinemas on 23 June 2017.
