I recently tried a new skin care product, and I need to tell the world about it. The product I’m referring to is the Alo 60-Second Detox & Glow Mask. I tried it, it works, and yes, I’m a little obsessed with it.

First of all, did you know that Alo Yoga, the brand behind model-favorite athleisure, has a beauty and wellness line? Well, it does, and I actually use a few of its products regularly. I use the body wash and all-natural deodorant in the morning, the lip balm throughout the day and the magnesium spray at night to help me feel like I’m sleeping at a spa. So you could say I’m a fan of the brand.

However, the brand recently released a face mask, and I’m here to tell you that it really works. All you need is one minute of your day, so busy girls and guys have no excuse not to try it.

The clay mask has a warming, color-changing effect that leaves your face looking polished, dewy, bright and nearly poreless. According to its label, it contains vitamin C-rich amla green clay and aloe to brighten and soothe skin fast.

Here’s how it works: Wash your face with your regular cleanser. Then, use your fingers to spread an even layer of the mask onto your wet face. Gently massage the product into your face for 30 seconds to exfoliate, and the mask will go from light blue to bright green. Then, leave it on for another 30 seconds to do its work, and rinse it off.

Immediately after using, my skin looks brighter and fresher, and my pores appear a little smaller. I especially like that it’s a fast treatment, like a quick boost to my routine. I feel like with other face masks, I grow impatient as they sit on my skin, or I even break out afterward. I have sensitive skin, and I’ve never had an issue with this mask.

If I’m being honest, I’ve always been a little skeptical of skin care face masks and whether they actually work. Can the ingredients in a clay, charcoal or paper face mask really penetrate my skin to make it glow in 20 minutes or less? I was surprised to find that the answer, according to a dermatologist at the Cleveland Clinic, is yes, face masks actually work. However, you should focus on their ingredients and whether or not they’re suited for sensitive skin.

If you’ve been looking for a quick skin care treatment to boost the brightness of your skin by exfoliating and hydrating, give Alo’s 60-second mask a shot. Seriously, it’s worth it.
