Small enough to pop in any pocket, with no trailing wires, True Wireless earbuds are the very definition of audio freedom — especially when they weigh just 5g each like these JLab In-Ear Headphones.
Lightening the load even more, John Lewis has shaved a tenner off the list price, bringing them down to just £19.99.
True Wireless Bluetooth earbuds are ultra-convenient to use. Secured magnetically in their storage case, they recharge them when not in use. These Go Air buds will run for around five hours when fully juiced, and the holding case stores another 15 hours of power, so they’re always topped up when you need to wear them.
And if you do run low on battery, a rapid charge mode means just 15 minutes on charge gives around an hour of play time. As the case has an integrated charging cable, it’s not going to get lost just before you need it either.

These JLab in-ears adopt the popular ‘dot’ design, and come in a choice of colours: black, blue or white. There’s no noise cancelling technology built in (not at this bargain price!), but get a good fit with the gel tip and you’ll benefit from a degree of natural isolation.
Once you’ve paired your JLab in-ears to your smartphone over Bluetooth, they’re designed to connect automatically. Ease of use is high. The Bluetooth used here is the latest v5.0 version, which is highly efficient, hence the robust battery life.
Although tiny, the buds sport 8mm dynamic drivers, and there’s a choice of EQ settings - Signature, Balanced, and Bass Boost - to tailor the sound to your liking. These sonic tweaks are available from the earbuds direct, so there’s no need to wrestle with an app.
Control comes via a simple touch sensor on the ear bud, be it volume or track skipping. The Go Air are also compatible with Google Assistant and Siri.
Naturally, you can take calls while wearing them, courtesy of built-in microphones in the buds themselves. With Dual Connect they can also be used independently of each other, ideal if you only want one earbud in.
The Go Air are IP44 splash resistant, so don’t worry about wearing them out and about in less than ideal weather.
Given their all too tempting price tag, we reckon they’ll go down a storm.
