The Coyote Ugly bar could be set to reopen, with original star and Dancing with the Stars host Tyra Banks admitting fresh potential for a Coyote Ugly sequel. We guess they just can't fight the moonlight any longer.
Tyra revealed tentative plans for "bringing Coyote Ugly back" while chatting to Kelly Clarkson.
In an interview on the The Kelly Clarkson Show, the model and actress said that she had rescheduled a planned conference call about a new Coyote Ugly project just to appear on the show.
"I literally was supposed to be on a conference call today about bringing Coyote Ugly back," she admitted, before giving a shout out to her fellow Coyote Maria Bello.
Revealing that plans to revisit the cult classic aren't limited to another movie, Tyra added: "We are talking about trying to do Coyote Ugly 2 – or a series."
Let's hope that any Coyote Ugly reboot fares better than this week's Dancing with the Stars, which saw new host Tyra read out the wrong names of the bottom two live on air.
Realising her mistake mid-sentence, Tyra told the audience: "There's actually been an error. I'm looking right now, and we have three couples. So we need to clarify this for one second...
"There's been an error in our control room, but we're making it happen. This is live TV, right? This is the craziness of live TV!" she added, before apologising to Monica Aldama and partner Val Chmerkovskiy for previously telling them they were safe.
"I'm so sorry. This is live TV. I was reading my cards, but my cards were wrong."
