Deadpool 2 will be screening an uncut version at San Diego Comic-Con later this month.

The Marvel sequel arrived in May to commercial and critical success, with the Merc with a Mouth back and better than ever, and now it looks like we're getting even more of him.

The schedule released for the panels promises some "surprises" at the screening, which sounds pretty exciting to us.

The announcement read (via Collider): "Deadpool is bringing a little something special to Comic-Con. Be the first to see a super-duper special screening of Deadpool 2 and maybe some surprises.

"Deadpool costumes are encouraged, but not required, but give it your maximum effort."

Deadpool creator, Rob Liefeld, recently got into a bit of trouble after he suggested Russell Crowe read for the role of Cable, because apparently when you're super famous, you don't need to audition.

At a Las Vegas Comic-Con panel, Liefeld said: "One night before I went to bed, I didn't know Russell Crowe was on Twitter, and I stupidly tweeted to Russell Crowe – not ever thinking he'd answer me – and I go, 'Hey Russell, you should read for Cable!'.

"That didn't turn out very well, I got yelled at a lot, because I woke up – because he's in Australia – to Russell Crowe saying, 'Read for it?!'.

"And my manager said, 'Yeah... Russell Crowe doesn't read for parts, Rob. You kind of insulted him'."

He then got a right telling off from Fox for the rogue Tweet. Yikes.
