Here are our player ratings from the game...

Two more goals conceded but neither were his fault. Other than the early goals, I can't think of any other meaningful saves he had to make. His distribution was clean and quick. (Photo: Tina Jenner)

A full-blooded, all action performance on his first home start of the season. Linked-up well with Mandeville again, as we saw many times last season, and their partnership carved open the visitors on occasions in the first 45. A couple of wayward crosses and shots here and there, but he got you on the edge of your seat. (Photo: Tina Jenner)

He got caught on the ball for the first goal by Dieseruvwe and he was a bit shaky after that but he composed himself and recovered admirably for the rest of the game. (Photo: Tina Jenner)

Goal machine! Two in two now for the skipper. He reacted quickly to nod in the rebound after Naylor's header hit the crossbar. As always, he was the one tasked with bringing the ball out from the back, and he was patient with it. He picked out some nice passes at times, and overhit a couple of others, but nothing to worry about. (Photo: Tina Jenner)

Like Palmer, he too recovered well after an iffy start. He was a bit all over the place in the early stages and had his hands full with the impressive Mancini. But credit must go to him because he settled down, made better decisions, and bombed on down the left after the break. Good on him. (Photo: Alex Livesey)

The matchwinner. He was in the right place at the right time to sidefoot home in the 95th minute. It was his header which came back off the crossbar before Grimes made it 2-2 as well. A little bit of a slow start but he got to grips with the game at just the right time. (Photo: Tina Jenner)

Like Naylor, I thought he also made a bit of a slow start as Hartlepool ripped through early doors. It was his first start so perhaps he was a little rusty. But after that he was immense. He started popping the ball off and the attacks started to flow. Ran himsef into the ground. Good to see him back. (Photo: Tina Jenner)

Assisted the first goal with a lovely clipped cross for Colclough to head in. He repeated that trick for another glorious chance which Jacobs should have scored. His corners were pretty much always on the money, and he can make a claim for a second assist, with Grimes' header for 2-2 coming from his initial delivery. Ran all day which, after 90 minutes at Altrincham two days ago, can't have been an easy thing to do. (Photo: Tina Jenner)

By no means a bad performance but would have liked him to have impacted the game more. He was neat and tidy enough. Should have scored a header just before half-time. More important minutes and you'd imagine he will only get stronger. (Photo: Tina Jenner)

Unplayable. Had the beating of his marker all day long. Headed in the first goal for his third of the season. Tormented the Pools with his driving runs, aggression and intensity. Had another goal ruled out late on at 2-2 and also missed a good chance. He was taken off late on and the visitors will have been chuffed to see the back of him. (Photo: Tina Jenner)

Can't fault his work-rate, his running of the channels or his hold-up play. He used his body well at times. But he should have done better with the chances he had. A heavy touch squandered a one-on-one in the first-half and he somehow headed wide from close-range in the second 45, which left everyone with their hands on their head. But he made a nuisance of himself in the box for the goal. (Photo: Alex Livesey)

Replaced Jacobs on 78 minutes and he was direct down the right. One run to the byline and cutback created a great chance for Colclough. He made a difference. (Photo: Tina Jenner)

He too made a real positive impact. He was direct, had one dangerous shot blocked, and put the ball in the box which led to the winner. He was exciting to watch. (Photo: Tina Jenner)
