This Is Us star Sterling K Brown joins Daniel Kaluuya's new movie

This Is Us actor Sterling K Brown has found his next movie project.

Titled Honk For Jesus. Save Your Soul, its being produced by recent Oscar-winner Daniel Kaluuya (Judas and the Black Messiah) through his 59% banner.

It's also been revealed that newcomer Adamma Ebo writes and directs, while Regina Hall (Scary Movie) co-stars.

The movie will follow Trinity Childs (played by Hall), "the first lady of a prominent Southern Baptist megachurch who attempts to help her pastor-husband (Brown) rebuild their congregation and reconcile their faith to make the biggest comeback that commodified religion has ever seen."

Honk For Jesus. Save Your Soul will be shot in a mockumentary style, offering a satirical perspective on the culture of megachurches.

Meanwhile, financier Pinky Promise's co-founder Jessamine Burgum couldn't contain her love for these two casting acquisitions.

She commented: "Both Regina and Sterling are forces of nature, and the sense of play and sheer creative energy they bring to these roles will be incredible to see. We're over the moon to partner with two of the most lovely and hardworking people in town.

"Honestly, it's a dream come true."

This Is Us airs on NBC in the US, while Amazon Prime Video carries the show in the UK.
