Ventimiglia set for indie movie

Milo Ventimiglia is reportedly set to star in a new indie film.

The former Heroes actor will also produce the adaptation of Marc Spitz's autobiographical novel How Soon Is Never?, according to Deadline.

The book is about a rock journalist who attempts to reunite 80s band The Smiths in a bid to get his own life back on course.

So far it isn't known who Milo might play, although it's thought he will take the lead role.

Production is due to start next year.

Milo has several movies coming up, including Grown Ups 2 and Grace Of Monaco.
