Vin Diesel Is Unrecognisable In Bearded Last Witch Hunter Pic

Someone get this guy a fixed-wheel bicycle and a flat white…

Vin Diesel has turned hipster – or so it would seem – for his latest movie ‘The Last Witch Hunter’.

Looking entirely unrecognisable, the generally bald ‘Fast & Furious’ star is sporting a thick patch of hair up top, and a burly beard wrapped around his chin.

A second snap of Diesel in an animal skin jerkin, and with his weird beard plaits more visible, makes him look more like he’s off to a Dungeons and Dragons reenactment weekend in the New Forest.

It’s a brave look, is what we’re saying.

He posted these latest shots – following a previous one of him wearing a dog (below) – to treat his fans on his Facebook page, featuring the remark ‘Kaldur state of mind… The Last Witch Hunter. Fall 2015!’

Kaldur is the name of the titular immortal witch hunter that Diesel is playing the fantasy flick, which finds him having slain witches for millennia before pitching up in modern day Manhattan, a bit like Highlander.

He’ll be joined on screen by Rose Leslie of ‘Game of Thrones’ fame, playing a rogue witch who has developed a kinship with humans, Julie Englelbrecht as the evil witch queen planning to unleash a plague on humanity, alongside Elijah Wood, and, oddly, Michael Caine.

Breck Eisner, who helmed ‘The Crazies’, is in the director’s chair.

And as Vin rightly says, you’ll have to wait until next Autumn to witness him in his full beardy glory.
