Vogue Williams and Spencer Matthews announce arrival of their second child

Vogue Williams and Spencer Matthews have announced the safe arrival of their second child, a baby girl.

Williams, 34, posted to Instagram on Thursday afternoon to inform her followers of the happy news, revealing the tot had been born in the night.

She wrote: "Last night we became a family of four. Our beautiful daughter arrived safely and happily into the world."

Meanwhile, 31-year-old Matthews posted a photo of him and his wife and a second image of Williams’ arm with a hospital bracelet on.

"Wow, we officially have CHILDREN!!" he wrote. "So much has happened in the last three years. Real positive change, a son and now a daughter.

"I couldn’t be more thankful to my incredible wife @voguewilliams for all that you do for our family, in particular the laborious pregnancies which us men will never fully understand. “

He went on to thank Williams for helping him to get sober before adding: "I have always dreamt of being a great father and because of you, that is now achievable. Feel lucky ever day to be married to you(sic)."

They had already disclosed the gender of their daughter back in March when they shared that they were expecting a second child.

The couple are already parents to son Theodore, who turns two in September. They tied the knot in June 2018, six months after their engagement.

Williams was previously married to Westlife singer Brian McFadden, parting ways in 2015 after three years of marriage.

Last December, McFadden announced he would be marrying his teacher girlfriend Danielle Parkinson.

Williams' baby girl joy comes just a few months after her pal and Matthews' former Made in Chelsea co-star Millie Mackintosh welcomed her daughter, Sienna, into the world with Hugo Taylor.

Mackintosh recently received praise from her social media followers after sharing a photograph of herself breastfeeding her daughter.

She had used the hashtag #normalisebreastfeeding in the caption.
