Mark Wahlberg has confirmed he is set to make a sequel to his film Ted.
The US actor, who starred in Seth MacFarlane's X-rated comedy with Mila Kunis, told American TV host Anderson Cooper on his talk show Anderson Live that this would be his first sequel.
"I've never done a sequel before but I have so much confidence in Seth. He's just such a talented and funny guy," he said.
Mark - who next stars in Michael Bay's Pain And Gain, before starring in Transformers 4 - also said that work on the second Ted film is already under way and that the writers are already working on ideas for the follow-up.
"There will be a Ted 2. We have already locked the deal and they are off writing now," he added.
The 41-year-old also revealed that his cuddly sidekick will be joining him at the Academy Awards in February.
"Because Seth is hosting the Oscars, me and Ted will be appearing at the Oscars," he said.
