Watch the first trailer for Beetlejuice 2
Beetlejuice 2 is finally arriving in cinemas this September, and we now have the first trailer for the long-anticipated sequel.
The sequel, officially titled Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, will see Michael Keaton reprise his iconic role as Betelgeuse, alongside the returning Winona Ryder and Catherine O'Hara as Lydia and Delia Deetz, respectively.
Jenna Ortega has joined as Lydia's daughter Astrid, while Justin Theroux plays a character called Rory, although we don't know exactly who the character is.

According to EW, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice picks up decades after the first movie with a death in the family. "That's all I will say," teased Tim Burton. "There's something that happens that sets things in motion."
Burton added that he wasn't going to do a sequel "unless it felt right" and the hook eventually came when he decided to centre it on the three generations of Deetz women.
"I so identified with the Lydia character, but then you get to all these years later, and you take your own journey, going from cool teenager to lame adult, back and forth again," Burton noted.
"That made it emotional, gave it a foundation. So that was the thing that really truly got me into it."
Beetlejuice Beetlejuice also stars Monica Bellucci, Willem Dafoe and House of the Dragon star Arthur Conti. All of their roles are being kept under wraps for now, although Dafoe previously revealed he was playing a dead B-movie star.
"I play a police officer in the afterlife, so I’m a dead person. And in life I was a B-movie action star, but I had an accident and that's what sent me to the other side," he told Variety in November 2023.
The sequel had its production interrupted by the actors' strike in July 2023, but it finally wrapped filming in late November 2023.
Beetlejuice Beetlejuice will be released in cinemas on September 6.
