Dune: Part Two's first trailer is finally here to tease our return to Arrakis later this year as Denis Villeneuve completes his epic vision.

The sequel continues the journey of Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet) as he unites with Chani (Zendaya) and the Fremen on a warpath of revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family.

As Paul faces a choice between the love of his life and the fate of the known universe, he aims to prevent a terrible future only he can foresee.

In the teaser, we are given a first look at Elvis' Austin Butler in character as the villain Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen as well as another look at Florence Pugh's Princess Irulan.

Along with newcomers Butler and Pugh, returning cast members Timothée Chalamet (who reprises his role as Paul Atreides), Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, Javier Bardem, Josh Brolin and Dave Bautista all featured in the teaser.

Joining them for Dune 2 are Christopher Walken, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Léa Seydoux, Stellan Skarsgård and Charlotte Rampling.

Based on the second half of the first novel in Frank Herbert's Dune series and directed by Denis Villeneuve, Dune: Part Two will arrive in cinemas on November 3, 2023.

Previously speaking about Pugh's addition to the franchise as Princess Irulan, who is the daughter of galaxy ruler Emperor Shaddam IV, played by fellow newcomer Christopher Walken, Villeneuve said: "Her stake could not be higher because she's afraid that her father could lose the throne, could lose everything.

"When I met Florence, I was struck by her assurance, how grounded she is as a young woman, how direct, how unapologetic."

Dune: Part Two is released in cinemas on November 3.
