Watch the First Trailer for Johnny Depp’s ‘Black Mass’

Johnny Depp makes for an awkward dinner guest in the first teaser for “Black Mass,” director Scott Cooper’s upcoming drama that’s based on the life of Whitey Bulger.

Depp plays the mob kingpin in the film written by Mark Mallouk and Jez Butterworth. Other cast members include Kevin Bacon, Benedict Cumberbatch, Dakota Johnson, Sienna Miller, Joel Edgerton, Jesse Plemons and David Harbour.

Warner Bros. will release the film on September 18 — just in time for award season.
