Greatest Days clip reveals classic Take That songAlex Bailey

We've got an exclusive first-look clip from the upcoming Take That movie Greatest Days, which you can watch above.

The new movie is based on the stage musical The Band and follows a group of friends who reunite for the first time in 25 years when their beloved band, just called "The Boys" in the movie, comes back for another tour.

In the clip, the friends are on their way to school when they decide to strike a pose as they imagine their favourite band singing Take That classic 'Could It Be Magic', to the bemusement of a nearby driver.

Digital Spy can also debut the brand new poster for Greatest Days which brings together the two different eras of friends, alongside their favourite boy band.

Greatest Days takes place over two periods in the friends' lives: when they were younger and went to see the band for the first time, and when they reunite for the band's comeback tour.

Aisling Bea, Jayde Adams, Alice Lowe, Amaka Okafor play the adults reuniting for the comeback, while Lara McDonnell, Jessie Mae Alonzo, Nandi Hudson, Carragon Guest and Eliza Dobson play the younger friends.

It was confirmed in April 2023 that Greatest Days would be released in cinemas in the UK and Ireland on June 16. There will be a special premiere event in London on June 15 with Take That in attendance, and nationwide previews on the same night.

Take That's Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald have executive produced the new movie, which will also feature other Take That songs including 'Back for Good', 'Rule the World' and 'Patience'.

"Greatest Days is a film dedicated to all those who have supported us throughout the years. It puts a mirror on our audience – it's a celebration of our music but it's literally all about the fans and their friendships," Take That previously said.
