Watch Hugh Jackman And Luke Evans’ Amazing Disney Sing-Off

Hugh Jackman’s always looking for an excuse to burst into song.

Still, this ‘Gaston-Off’ between him and Luke Evans from 'The Jonathan Ross Show’ was nonetheless a delight to behold.

Picking up on the fact that Jackman once played the brawny, narcissistic gasbag from 'Beauty and the Beast’ early on his career, and 'Hobbit’ star Evans set to play him in the forthcoming live-action remake, Ross decided to pit Gaston against Gaston.

There were tankards.

Not wanting to be outdone, Taron Edgerton, appearing on the Ross sofa with Jackman promoting 'Eddie The Eagle’, also showed of some seriously impressive pipes.

Comedian Shazia Mirza might have been better staying on the sofa, mind you.

Evans will be starring alongside Emma Watson in the star-studded new take on the Disney classic.

It also stars 'Downton Abbey’s Dan Stevens as the Beast, Emma Thompson as Mrs Potts, Ewan McGregor as Lumiere, Sir Ian McKellen as Cogsworth, Kevin Kline as Maurice, Josh Gad as La Fou and Stanley Tucci as Cadenza.

Original composer Alan Menken, who scored the 1991 classic, along with the likes of 'Tangled’ and 'Little Shop Of Horrors’, will be behind the music in the new movie.

It’s due out in March, 2017.
