Watch: ‘True Blood’ Final Season Trailer Warns ‘There’s No One Left’

The apocalypse has come to Bon Temps.

The first trailer for “True Blood’s” seventh and final season promises more ambushes from the sick, Hep V vampires. Sookie and the gang are practically left for dead in the 35-second teaser as the government has tuned a blind eye to the gravity of the situation.

“How can this be happening in this day and age that our government would leave us for dead?” Sookie (Anna Paquin) asks. “Now the good folks in this town are turning on each other, acting like animals. Why they’d do such a thing?”

After the dig at FEMA, she then utters an even more ominous phrase: “There’s no one left.”

The final season of the HBO drama premieres on June 22.
