Watchmen's Lady Trieu actress Hong Chau is set to appear opposite Anya Taylor-Joy in dark thriller The Menu.

Also starring Harry Potter's very own He Who Must Not Be Named (Ralph Fiennes), the movie was written by Will Tracy and Seth Reiss, and will be directed by Succession's Mark Mylod.

The news of Chau's involvement originates from Deadline.

The Menu, which mingles comedy and psychological freakiness, is set in the universe of eccentric culinary culture.

It follows a young couple on their visit to an exclusive, remote island restaurant where a popular chef (played by Fiennes) has put together a new tasting menu.

Meanwhile, Taylor-Joy will next be seen in director Edgar Wright's fiercely-anticipated Last Night in Soho, which released its debut trailer back in May.

The 25-year-old fills the shoes of dazzling '60s singer Sandy, who's encountered by a young girl named Eloise (Jojo Rabbit's Thomasin McKenzie) from the future.

Here, Eloise comes to learn that '60s London isn't anything like what she expected, where time seems to simply melt away.

Expect The Menu to hit big screens everywhere next year sometime, whilst Last Night in Soho arrives this October.
