Spotted: Tom Cruise has the same facial cuts in all films

Once you’ve noticed this, it’ll be hard to look at ‘battle-worn’ Tom Cruise in the same way again.

‘Jack Reacher: Never Go Back’ is poised for release at UK cinemas, and the trailer shows a battered and bruised Tom, ‘the guy you didn’t count on’, being roughed up by police.

He’s got lacerations to his right cheek, and a bump across the bridge of his nose.

Nothing weird about that, until Vulture picked up on the fact that he seems to have the same pattern of bruising in every film.

It does seem to be a rather odd coincidence.

Is it the equivalent of when actors have a better side they prefer to be shot on? (making it a matter of vanity?)

Or perhaps the same make-up artist?

Either way, it’s seems Mr Cruise likes a certain way of being duffed up.
