After revealing that Johnny Depp was the most overpaid Hollywood star of 2015 earning the studios just $1.20 for every $1 he was paid, Forbes has revealed which actors provided the best return of investment over the last 12 months.

And while male actors dominated the most overpaid list, it’s female actors who provided movie studios with the most bang for their buck in 2015.

‘Captain America’ star Chris Evan topped the list that was measured using the data from each actor’s last three films released before June 2015. Forbes calculates that for $1 Evans was paid, the studios earned $181.80 in box office profits.

With the blockbusting ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ and ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’ under his belt it’s not hard to see why Evans has charted so high. Presumably when his 6-picture Marvel deal expires after ‘Avengers: Infinity War’, he’ll want to negotiate a much better rate per film or, as many expect he will, he’ll walk away from the Marvel Cinematic Universe for good.

Outside of the number one spot, there are five female stars including Jennifer Lawrence and Scarlett Johansson in the top ten adding weight the pay gap debate that suggests female stars are disproportionately remunerated compared to their male counterparts.

Here’s the full list:

1. Chris Evans - Returns $181.80 for every $1 paid.

2. Mila Kunis - Returns $87.30 for every $1 paid.

3. Scarlett Johansson - Returns $84.90 for every $1 paid.

4. Gwyneth Paltrow - Returns $82.90 for every $1 paid.

5. Emma Stone - Returns $54.00 for every $1 paid.

6. Chris Hemsworth - Returns $42.10 for every $1 paid.

7. Vin Diesel - Returns $40.30 for every $1 paid.

8. Jennifer Lawrence - Returns $39.10 for every $1 paid.

9. Mark Wahlberg - Returns $37.90 for every $1 paid.

10. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson - Returns $28.10 for every $1 paid.
