Recently, you might have noticed your feed filling up with pictures of very famous people in their knickers. But, it turns out, there's a very good reason why big-time celebs like Zoe Saldana, Kate Hudson and Dakota Fanning have been stripping for Instagram.

All the posts are in honour of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which is taking place throughout the month of October. For every person who posts a picture in their underwear using the hashtag #kitstokickcancer, Kits Undergarments, who have partnered with Women's Cancer Research Fund will be donating $1 to the WCRF, and lots of celebrities have been getting involved.

One of the first to post a pants-pic was How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days star Kate Hudson, who shared a happy picture of her jumping for joy in her pink underwear to Instagram last week.

"Sending a HUGE hug to all the survivors, the fighters and the families who have had to sadly say goodbye to loved ones. We fight to see the end of breast cancer in our lifetime!" Hudson told fans.

Next up, Guardians of The Galaxy actor Zoe Saldana, Twilight's Dakota Fanning, The Politician's Zoey Deutch and even noughties music legend Anastacia got involved.

It's a great cause, and a great reminder to play Anastacia's Left Outside Alone at full volume at least 4-5 times today.
