Guys, no more speculation. We finally have a bit of substantial, real, actual Star Wars news.

Woody Harrelson has confirmed his character's name in the upcoming Han Solo spinoff movie, and while it doesn't give much away, he did give us a little bit of background.

Appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the actor revealed: "I play a guy named Beckett, whose kind of a criminal and a mentor to Han. That's all I can say."

The star also revealed that he would be filming for the role in London "until the end of July".

Of course, we already knew that Beckett was a mentor-type figure to the young Han, played by Alden Ehrenreich, and given that he's a bit of a rogue, a criminal mentor is fitting.

Also joining the pair for the spinoff movie is Community's Donald Glover, who will play the young version of Lando Calrissian.

On top of that, Game of Thrones' Emilia Clarke will be along for the ride, as well as Fleabag's Phoebe Waller-Bridge.

Anticipation is pretty high for the movie, though Rogue One director Gareth Edwards reckons it will be damn good.

"They're amazing filmmakers," Edwards said of the project's directors Phil Lord and Christopher Miller. "I'm very excited about what they do.

"It'll be a completely different film to what we did. I think they've got the hardest task. Out of all the films that I heard about, that one is probably the greatest challenge and they're going to knock it out of the park, but I wouldn't have the balls to do that."

The Han Solo movie is due out on May 25, 2018.
