As Yellowstone Spinoff Rumors Swirl, Kelly Reilly Warns Fans, ‘Don’t Believe Everything You Read’

You know what pairs well with rumors about Kelly Reilly’s involvement in Paramount+’s in-the-works Yellowstone spinoff: a grain of salt, the actress tells Radio Times. “I just care about finishing [the OG series] with as much care and as much passion and as much love as I can muster to put into it… I’m sort of prepping for that now, [and] that’s my tunnel-vision thing that I care about most.

“And what goes on beyond that?” she adds. “There are discussions, you know. Don’t believe everything you read. It’s just nonsense… ”

Reilly, along with castmates Cole Hauser, who plays Beth’s husband Rip, and Luke Grimes, who plays her brother Kayce, is reportedly in talks to continue on in next iteration of Yellowstone. But, per the same article in industry newsletter Puck, the co-stars are holding out for pay increases before they agree to sign on the dotted line.

So will Beth actually wind up raising hell on the new show? “Let’s wait and see,” Reilly says. “I don’t have an answer right now. But we’ll see.”

In November, Yellowstone returns with the back half of its fifth and final season, in which we’ll learn whether Beth and dad John manage to take out adopted Dutton Jamie before he and conniving girlfriend Sarah Atwood take them out.
