Alan Partridge Movie: First official look

And the teaser trailer arrives tomorrow…

Aha! The first official image for the Alan Partridge movie is here, showing a confused looking Steve Coogan sat at the desk of his luxury shed – Spitfire painting and all.

The Partridge pic has been released ahead of tomorrow’s teaser trailer premiere.

At 12pm GMT tomorrow the broadcasting legend himself will be unveiling the first teaser trailer for his as yet unnamed movie, as well as the title itself, from his YouTube account here.

Directed by ‘Father Ted’s’ Declan Lowney, the film will follow Norfolk’s favourite son as he negotiates “a potentially violent turn of events and North Norfolk Digital Radio”.

I’m Alan Partridge’ alumni Lynn (Felicity Montagu), Michael (Simon Greenhall) and DJ Dave Clifton (Phil Cornwell) will be returning to Partridge - as will ‘Mid-Morning Matters’ co-host Sidekick Simon, played by Tim Key.

We last saw Alan captured in a series of on-set shots of the cult character running along Norfolk’s Cromer Pier with a rifle.  At midday tomorrow, we might find out why. Spice World.


The Alan Partridge movie, whatever it’s called, is out in the UK 16 August 2013.
