Schwarzenegger joins the rush to cash in on Hollywood's walking dead craze

The film, to be directed by newcomer Henry Hobson, will have Arnie appearing as the father of a girl who is slowly turning into a flesh-eating monster.

The film is based on a Black List script by John Scott 3 and is described as portraying a farmer on a journey to help his daughter come to terms with her infection as she slowly becomes a zombie.
Chloe Moretz was originally slated to play the daughter but dropped out last year. Filming begins in Autumn.

It's the latest addition to Scwarzenegger's run of post-politics films. He's now lined up not only to appear in the next instalment of 'Terminator' but is also appearing in 'Escape Plan' in October and David Ayer’s 'Breacher,' while also reprising his role in the third 'Expendables' and developing 'Pump,' a drama he recently sold to Showtime.
