'Hellboy' star Ron Perlman has helped a boy realise his dream of transforming himself into the devilish, supernatural superhero.
Through the Make A Wish Foundation, 'Hellboy' fan and leukaemia sufferer Zachary met 62-year-old Perlman as his hero, after he underwent four hours in makeup.
The make-up and special effects studio behind the 'Hellboy' series, Spectral Motion, then made six-year-old Zachary up to look like a miniature version of the paranormal investigator.
“Ron loved the idea and donned the makeup once more (with the assistance of Lufeng Qu and Eden Elizalde) and also ordered a Hellboy sized meal of burgers, shakes, and fries for Zachary and his family and the entire Spectral crew to enjoy,” said the studio.
The studio also gave another sci-fi fan Caleb a look at their animatronics department, checking out creatures that have appeared in films like 'X Men: The Last Stand' and 'Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer'.
The day out can be seen on their Facebook page.
