Channing Tatum lampoons Van Damme Volvo ad
22 Jump Street star attempts his own version of viral splits video.
It appears that no one was more wowed by the recent Jean Claude Van Damme ad – in which he performs his infamous splits between two moving Volvo lorries - than Channing Tatum.
The Hollywood heartthrob has even attempted his own version of the eye-watering stunt. It does not go well.
A spoof video from the set of action-comedy sequel '22 Jump Street', currently filming, finds Tatum in character as Jenko, delivering an over-wrought speech in the style of Van Damme's.

It comes complete with the dreamy music – provided by Enya – and the cheeky text 'this test was set up to demonstrate the stability and precision of the food carts on the set of 22 Jump Street'.
It concludes with Tatum contorted and sweary on the tarmac.

Van Damme's video emerged last week allowing Volvo to show off their 'dynamic steering' system. The ad, filmed in Spain, is now officially 'viral', with over 35 million views.
