They join a growing cast on Brett 'Rush Hour' Ratner's epic, which will be headed up by Dwanye Johnson in the lead as son of Zeus, Hercules.

In this version of the myth, Hercules becomes a mercenary to sate his lust for fighting.

It's been based on comic books using the mythological warrior by Steve Moore and Cris Bolsin, placing the action in barbarian Thrace, rather than in Greece.

Also on the bill will be John Hurt as Cotys, Rebecca Ferguson as Ergenia and Rufus Sewell as Autolycus.

Ratner was last seen having directed part of the disastrous sketch comedy 'Movie 43'.

'Hercules: The Thracian Wars' is due out on July 25, 2014.
