Film buff parents recreate famous scenes with baby and cardboard

Next level fun and games with baby Orson.

Next level crafting... impressive skills from Lilly, Leon and Orson (Copyright: CardboardBoxOffice)

As if naming your baby Orson isn't cinematic enough, eh?

Parents Lilly and Leon Mackie have decided that regular craft doesn't quite scratch that film buff itch, and have truly gone the extra mile with their endlessly patient nipper.

They've recreated a whole library of their favourite films scenes using only cardboard and a level of imagination that would put most parents to shame.

Among the rather impressive re-enactments to be found at Cardboardboxoffice.com are scenes from 'Home Alone', 'Star Wars', 'Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom', 'Jaws', 'Alien', 'Die Hard', 'Jurassic Park' and 'Castaway'.

Said the pair: “The project began after finding that we had accumulated both a lot of cardboard boxes (due to moving to a new country) and a baby (due to giving birth).

“With our social lives drastically altered we decided to find a way to make some of those housebound weekends a little more fun.

“The costumes, props, and sets in Cardboard Box Office are created entirely out of everyday household items, toys, cardboard, and three individuals slowly losing their sanity.”

But in a good way... obviously.
