First glimpse at Christopher Nolan's Interstellar
And it really is a glimpse...
Now one of the hottest directors in Hollywood, Christopher Nolan's next movie after his feted 'Batman' trilogy 'Interstellar' is, to say the least, hotly anticipated.
Now the first teaser for the mind-bending sci-fi thriller has arrived... but it's not giving us very much to go on.
Teaser is very much the name of the game, as Nolan's star, Matthew McConaughey, waxes all poetic about the nature of man's ambition.

And then aside from some library footage of flight and space travel milestones, there's a rather miserly five shots from the film itself.
It's lofty stuff, but then after the brilliant but a bit baffling 'Inception', what did we expect?
The film's official synopsis doesn't reveal much more:
“When a wormhole (which hypothetically can connect widely-separated regions of spacetime) is newly discovered, a team of explorers and scientists embark on a voyage through it to transcend previous limitations on human space travel.”

But then Nolan has always been about secrecy, keeping as much back before his film's releases as possible, and this one isn't out until next Christmas.
Alongside McConaughey is a star-studded cast, including Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Michael Caine, Matt Damon, Casey Affleck, John Lithgow, Wes Bentley and David Oyelowo.
Has this whetted your appetite for Nolan's new movie? Or should he have shown us all a little more?
