First look at new Spider-Man suit

Eyes are bigger, the suit more textured for Andrew Garfield's second outing as Spidey

The new suit for 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2' has been revealed.

Following director Marc Webb's tweet last week, which appeared to show a mysterious black Spider-Man suit, this new official look at the outfit from Sony shows it in all its fiery glory.

It boasts bigger eyes than the first suit worn by Andrew Garfield's Peter Parker in 'The Amazing Spider-Man', as well as a different texture to the material.

Though production is now well under way, the release is still some way off, the final film not set to emerge until May 2, 2014.

Details are slowly leaching out, however.

Paul Giamatti is confirmed for the cast, with rumours abound he is to play Spider-Man's adversary Rhino, while Dane DeHaan is to play Peter Parker's friend (but latterly his sworn enemy) Harry Osborn.

Elsewhere, Jamie Foxx is to play the lead antagonist Electro, Shailene Woodley is to join the cast as Mary Jane, alongside Emma Stone reprising Gwen Stacey, Sally Field as Aunt May and Martin Sheen as Uncle Ben.
