Harry Hill movie to begin shooting
Stand-up hauls in Julie Walters and Matt Lucas for his debut feature film
Harry Hill is moving from the small screen to the big one.
The creator of 'TV Burp' will begin principal photography on 'The Harry Hill Movie' this weekend, joined by a host of British acting talent.

Signed up for roles in the film, written by Hill, Jon Foster and James Lamont, are Julie Walters, 'The Inbetweeners' star Simon Bird, Matt Lucas, Sheridan Smith, Marc Wooton, Julian Barratt and Jim Broadbent.
Plot-wise, it's as odd as any Harry Hill fan could hope for.
When Hill and his nan (Walters) discover that their hamster is seriously ill, they embark on a road trip to Blackpool pursued by their vet (Bird), only to encounter his evil twin (Lucas), who was separated from Harry at birth and raised by Alsatians.
“I’m thrilled at last to be able to tell the world the true story of my hamster’s struggle on the big screen and even more excited to be working with some of the comedy greats of the British film industry,” said Hill.
The film will be helmed by Steve Bendelack, who directed much of 'The League of Gentlemen' including their film 'The League of Gentlemen's Apocalypse'.
The production will shoot for eight weeks on location, with a release planned for the end of the year.
