Harry Potter star Rupert Grint is bloodied and battered in new film
Ron Weasley star all grown-up in first look at gritty Enemy Of Man.
Weasley? Is that you?
‘Harry Potter’ star Rupert Grint has definitely ditched his Hogwarts days in the first gory pictures from moody new ‘Macbeth’ movie, ‘Enemy Of Man’.

The Ron Weasley star plays Scottish nobleman Ross, a character who serves as messenger to the main players in Shakespeare’s brooding and bloody tragedy. As these first gritty snaps show, the armour-clad actor isn’t afraid of getting dirty either - riding into battle on his black steed in one picture, whilst another sees him bloodied and caked in mud against a dramatic burning background.
Sword-slinging veteran Sean Bean stars as the eponymous Macbeth, with fellow ‘Game Of Thrones’ alumni Charles Dance appearing as Duncan, King Of Scotland.
It’ll be Rupert’s fourth movie role since finishing the ‘Harry Potter’ series in 2011 (making an estimated £24 million along the way), but almost definitely his most serious acting gig yet.
The Harlow-born star made his post-Potter break in last year’s chilly WWII tale ‘Into The White’, the true story of two shot-down British and German aircraft crews, forced to survive a harsh Norwegian winter in the same remote Cabin.

The now 25-year-old, who famously appeared in fellow red-head Ed Sheeran’s music video for ‘Lego House’, also recently played influential punk guitarist Cheetah Chrome in US made-for-TV historical ‘CBGB’.
Next up though, Rupert can be seen in Shia LaBeouf-fronted rom-com/action ‘Charlie Countryman’, getting a few laughs in the trailer when his character overdoses on a popular ‘performance enhancing’ blue pill. Due out later this year, the movie also features fellow Brit and filthy-minded ‘Inbetweeners’ menace, James Buckley.
‘Enemy Of Man’, written and directed by ‘300’ star Vincent Regan, is yet to receive a release date. Watch the trailer for 'Charlie Countryman' below.
