Directed by Carl Erik Rinsch, ’47 Ronin’ is the super stylised version of Japan’s national legend. The Ronin (leaderless samurai) in question being a real-life band of 18th century warriors who walk the warpath to vengeance after their master was killed by the villainous lord Kira.
Starring alongside a cast of established Japanese cast, Mr Reeves himself is playing Kai - a half-Japanese half-British outcast who was created specifically for the movie.
We’re just happy to see Keanu kicking ass again, and dragons...
