Not much is yet known of the plot for 'Transformers 4', other than what has been briefly mentioned in the film's official synopsis.
According to that, the plot revolves around 'a group of powerful, ingenious businessman and scientists [who] attempt to learn from past Transformer incursions and push the boundaries of technology beyond what they can control - all while an ancient, powerful Transformer menace sets Earth in his crosshairs'.
Grammer joins a growing cast, including Nicola Peltz, Jack Reynor, Stanley Tucci and Mark Wahlberg, who's taking over from Shia LaBeouf in the lead.
It was announced last month that the film will be a Chinese co-production, with some of the film being shot in Detroit and some in China.
For the Chinese part of the film, a reality show will find 'a number of talented Chinese actors and actresses' for the production.
It's due out in June, 2014.
