Bryan Singer has teased the latest snapshot from the 'X-Men' set, revealing the first look at Michael Fassbender's reprisal of Magneto.

Fassbender is pictured on a platform lifted by a crane, with Singer captioning the picture: “The dark knight rises. #MichaelFassbender #Xmen #DaysOfFuturePast.”

The image is the second recent shot from the set, the other appearing earlier this week showing the Oval Office of the White House, and featuring President Richard Nixon.

Last week, Twitter-happy director Singer teased the possible role of 'Game of Thrones' star Peter Dinklage in the film.

The picture showed a logo for 'Trask Industries', the firm of Bolivar Trask, the creator of the Sentinels - the force tasked with destroying the mutant X-Men.

It's thought that Dinklage will be playing the military scientist Trask.

'X-Men: Days of Future Past' is currently shooting in Montreal, with a release set for July, 2014.
