Ohio State Marching band pays tribute to Hollywood

Famous college band salute Superman, Jurassic Park and Harry Potter in spectacular half-time show.

That must have taken some organising.

Well-drilled members of the Ohio State Marching Band paid tribute to the world of Hollywood this weekend at the halftime show of the Ohio State-Penn State football game.

Beginning with Superman, perhaps because he was back on big screens this year in ‘Man of Steel’, the band recreated several Hollywood classics, including a marauding T-rex from ‘Jurassic Park’, a Quidditch player from ‘Harry Potter’ and warring battleships from ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’.

The good men and women of the Ohio State Marching Band have form for this kind of stuff.

Last week they celebrated the 25th anniversary of Michael Jackson’s album Bad, and also went viral thanks to this tribute to videogames.
