Stunning Gravity clip: George Clooney and Sandra Bullock lost in space
Heart-stopping footage from Cauron's space disaster thriller.
This unbelievable footage from new thriller 'Gravity' wins the award for the most nail-biting trailer of the year.
The clip shows Sandra Bullock's astronaut thrown into space after an explosion on a space shuttle. Watch it above, unless you're claustrophobic…
The word has been going round that director Alfonso Cuarón’s forthcoming space thriller might just change things in cinema.

The project by the ‘Children of Men’ director has been shooting since 2011, and has been a drawn-out, hard fought for project, with budget issues, re-writes (by Cuarón himself and his son Jonas) and pioneering use of CGI.
Back while it was still shooting, fellow director Guillermo Del Toro said: “What Alfonso is trying, is so insane… I think that in the same way that he pushed the narrative in Children of Men [they] are absolutely pushing a new boundary in filmmaking, completely mind-blowing.
“ And the way they’re making [‘Gravity’] will I think forever change certain types of productions. The engineering and the ingenuity of the machines they’ve created to film that way is fantastic.”
Well, that’s good enough for us, and coupled with the frankly astonishing first footage seen here, this could be something very special indeed.

George Clooney stars as veteran astronaut Matt Kowalsky, with Bullock as Dr. Ryan Stone, who is on her first mission.
When flying space debris all but destroys their shuttle, casting them adrift into space, they have to work together to survive.
It’s out in the UK on October 11.
